Once upon a time in a village, a man came; announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each. The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys in the forest, went out and started catching them.

Accent is a way of pronouncing a language. Its a natural thing. But some people try to mimic other people's accent due to inferior mentality. We can control the way we speak, and do, BOTH consciously and unconsciously. Accents are influenced by geographic separation, cultural influence, and other languages from closest geographic regions.

ධනිය, විශාල ගව පට්ටියක් හිමි ගොපලු තරුණයෙකි. සිය අඹු දරුවන් ද සමඟ ගවයින්ට ආහාර ඇති තැන් සොයා යමින්, එවන් තණ බිමක් හමු වූ විට තාවකාලික නිවෙස් තනාගෙන එහි කලක් නතර වී සිටීම ඔහුගේ සිරිත විය. එදා ඔහුගේ නවාතැන වූයේ මහී නම් ගඟ අසබඩ වූ තණ බිමකි. සවස් වන විට අහස අඳුරු වී වැසි වැටෙන ලකුණු පහල විය. වැහි වලාකුළු අහස්කුස නැංවෙන අයුරු බලාසිටි හේ ප්රීතියට පත් විය. මහා වැසි වසින්න යයි වලාවන්ට හඩ නගා කියන්නට විය.

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay,
for his hungry stomach, decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. On the way through school, he found he had only one thin dime left and he was very hungry.
However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.The woman thought he looked hungry, so brought him a large glass of milk.
